William's 1st Birthday : On October 5th, William turned 1! We celebrated with a family party at Highbanks metro park.

Middle Bass Island : At the end of July Kate and I went and visited our friend at her summer home on Middle Bass Island. Between the 3 of us we had 8 kids 5 and under. It was crazy, but fun!

Jack's 1st Day of School : Aug. 20, 2008 - Jackson's 1st Day of Kindergarten at St. Matthias! He "LOVE-ED IT!"

Jack turns 5! : Jack's 5th Birthday was quite the event. It started as a fishing party; Aunt Gloria and Uncle Jim were nice enough to let us use their home and lake. It turned into a party with a treasure hunt, hayride, pinata, cake, snocones, bonfire, smores, fireworks and of course some fishing! It was quite the event!! In fact the kids were having so much fun there wasn't time to open presents so we had to do it the next day! It's fair to say that all the kids were exhausted at the end and so was mommy!

Vacation 2008 : We had a great vacation. It began by driving to visit our cousins Henry, Tracey, and Hannah in Indian Beach, NC (between Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle). We spent 5 wonderful days at their gorgeous home, and were treated with true southern hospitality. Then we drove to Williamsburg, Virginia where we went to Busch Gardens and then spent a day at Jamestown, VA. We ended the trip with a quick stop in Greensburg.

Gpa Blair turns 91 and the 4th of July : Grandpa Blair turned 91 on June 29th. We had a small party at the place he's living. The other pictures are from teh 4th of July and Will eating spaghetti.

April 2008 : April was a rough month at the Hartman house, so there aren't many pictures. William started having breathing problems. They have yet to determine if its asthma or allergies, but either way now he's doing much better with an occasional breathing treatment. He had to do a round of steroids, which wasn't pleasant.

One highlight, at Will's 6 month check up he weighed in at 23 1/2 lbs. He's a big boy, much bigger than Jack who was always in the 90%. Will is still on the chart though at 98%!

March 2008 : Pictures from March. They begin with dying easter eggs at home in Ohio, then Easter in PA (Will's 1st Easter) and finally Lily's 2nd birthday. She had a party and then on her actual birthday she got to go to Build A Bear.

"Blizzard of 08" : Thursday it was so warm out we had the windows open. Then it started snowing at 10am on Friday and didn't stop until 6pm on Saturday. The final count... 20.4 inches!

55th Anniversary & Soccer Pix : The first group of pictures are from Grandma and Grandpa's 55th Wedding Anniversary dinner! It was great seeing everyone together! For those of you who weren't there, we missed you!

The second group of pictures are from Jack's soccer team (Scott is the coach)! The first week was a little rough. A lot of tears from all the players, including Jack!! The second week, Jack decided he liked soccer and he even scored a goal! He then missed the next 3 minutes of play because he was still standing in the goal celebrating!
